Her interest in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures in Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas mingling in the same dish is her ideology. All of her dishes share a single vision, embracing the present while reminiscing fondly on the previous. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso and is influenced with her Italian American roots. The restaurant was greeted with the warmest welcome. She was also not afraid making bold choices to honor her gut instincts. She was in close contact with many famous people and quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. The Lofaso had found a home at Black Market. Her creative independence would be fostered with this partnership. Black Market is not constrained by a single direction, which is exactly what the idea. This course would begin with potato chips flavored with dill Shishito peppers and follow up with Korean wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso has, over the course of her career, has measured success by how well she is able to comprehend her audiences. She also stays true to who she is. She has been a part of a variety of television shows like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents are still being showcased as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso teamed up together with Penguin in 2012 to release The Busy Mom's Cookbook, 100 Recipes for Delicious home-cooked Meals.
